Fuerteventura es una de las siete islas que conforman el Archipiélago Canario, y forma parte de una alineación de más de 200km, constituyendo así la plataforma continental de mayor extensión de las Canarias.
El clima en Fuerteventura es estable, con una temperatura media anual cercana a los 20 grados centígrados, y una economía basada en el turismo. En su paisaje destacan los Parajes Naturales de Interés Nacional reconocidos como Montaña de Tindaya, Pozo Negro, la Montaña Cardón, el Malpaís de la Arena y los Parques Naturales de las Dunas de Corralejo y Lobos.
Fuerteventura is one of the seven islands that belong to the Canary Archipelago and it is the bigger Canary island with more than 200 km long. Fuerteventura offer numerous beautiful beaches and therefore lots of fun and action near the ocean and in an unique nature.
Fuerteventura is a climatic paradise, with an annual average temperature near to 20 centigrade degrees, a place which may not be found many more in the world.
In the island landscape stand out the Natural interesting places as Montaña de Tindaya, Pozo Negro, la Montaña Cardón, Malpaís de la Arena and the National Park of Dunas de Corralejo y Lobos.
La isla es un paraíso para los amantes del surf, el windsurf o el kitesurf, debido sobretodo a los alíseos y a las condiciones inmejorables, asi como para la práctica de deportes como el golf y la pesca deportiva que tiene un importante rol en la isla.
Fuerteventura es también un lugar de riqueza cultural, tanto propia como importada por los residentes extranjeros, que han sabido transformar esa diversidad en un aliciente social de la isla.

GRAN TARAJAL
El Gran Tarajal es un lugar privilegiado del mundo, con un clima siempre primaveral, y con temperaturas medias que oscilan entre los 19 y 25º C, que suavizan el calor veraniego y hacen más cálidos los inviernos.
Es el entorno ideal para la práctica de actividades tan variadas como los deportes náuticos, la pesca de altura, el submarinismo en sus aguas cristalinas, y las excursiones a pie o el senderismo por cualquiera de los hermosos y diversos parajes naturales.
Gran Tarajal is a privileged place of the world, with all year spring climate and average temperatures that range between the 19 and 25ºC.
It’s a perfect environment for the practice of water sports and nautical activities as the deep-sea fishing, the scuba diving in the crystalline sea and excursions or hike trips all through any of the diverse and beautiful natural places.
La playa de Gran Tarajal es bandera azul de la Comunidad Europea por sus excelentes condiciones, y está rodeada por un cuidado paseo marítimo que dispone todos los servicios y de restaurantes en los que se puede degustar buen pescado fresco.
Gran Tarajal has a thin sand beach with calm waters, and with the blue flag status by the European Community for its excellent conditions. A boardwalk surrounds the beach with all the bath services and also restaurants in which to enjoy delicious fresh fish.
Destacar el Puerto Deportivo de Gran Tarajal, que se ha convertido en un atractivo espacio deportivo y donde se celebra en septiembre el «Open Internacional de Pesca de Altura de Canarias», que atrae numerosas embarcaciones de todo el mundo.
